Flaker/Dryer are mainly used to convert molten chemicals in to sild flakes. This is achieved by coating thin layer of molten chemical on rotating drum which is cooled from inside by suitable mechanism by spinking water. Solidief material is thus flaked by adjustable scaraper. (If heated drum is required, heating arrangement also can be provided.)

It can be used for research purpose in a laboratory or for small scale production in industries. Materials such as dyes, chemicals and foodstuff can be effectively dried on a drum dryer.
